ABOUT THE ART

Each piece is one of a kind; a handmade sculpture which has its own unique beauty and design. I begin with a base created from a combination of rough materials, like steel and rock, then contrast that with vibrant ceramic toppers and adornments. I use a torch to cut the metal, bend everything by hand,  do all my own drilling and welding and hand-sculpt the ceramic. So each piece is truly unique.

Flower solar light sculptures, fountains, fire pits, decorative bowls, and planters are all available for purchase and custom order.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

From the time I was old enough to use scissors and tape, I have been submersed in creating. My two wonderful, hard-working parents, allowed me to develop a perfect blend of my mother’s work with ceramics and my father’s work with trains and steel. In 1999, I graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute and from there went to work teaching art at a special needs school. Almost 20 years later, I’m now the Assistant Principal at that same school. I am married to my beautiful wife, Amanda and have three amazing children – Bria, Charlotte and Slade. My art would not be where it is today without the positive support of my wife and the motivation my children give me.

Each piece is a one of a kind, handmade sculpture which has its own unique design. Most sculptures include a solar LED light panel that lights up from dusk till dawn, adding beautiful soft light to your path, outdoor entertaining area, or waterfall.

I also love to do custom pieces so if you have an idea or vision of your own – I’m all ears! I will do my best to translate your wishes and my artistic touch into a sculpture. Delivery, Installation, and landscape design to compliment your artwork is also an option .
